 At Hipposoft Yazılım Limited Şirketi, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Ezpense mobile application (“the App”).

a. Account Information
When you create an account or sign in via Apple, we collect:

 Name (if permitted)

Email address (can be hidden via Apple Sign-In)

 b. Usage Information
We collect anonymized data such as:

 Number of scans

 Device and OS type

Interaction with app features

c. Uploaded Content
When you upload receipts, we process them with OCR and AI tools to generate insights. We do not share your uploaded content with any third party.

2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data to:

Provide receipt scanning and analysis

Improve the app experience

Manage subscription features

Ensure authentication and security

Contact users for account-related information

3. Data Storage and Security
We store your data using secure, encrypted storage and industry-standard safeguards. Uploaded content is retained only as long as needed for processing unless you choose to save it.

Your personal data is never sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.

4. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services (e.g., OpenAI for receipt analysis, Apple for Sign-In) strictly for functionality. These services operate under their own privacy policies and comply with data protection regulations.  OneSignal – push notification delivery and device/user identification

5. Your Rights
You can:

Delete your account and all associated data

Withdraw consent for data processing

You can do this within the app or by contacting us directly.

6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, unless legally required otherwise.

7. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Major changes will be communicated via the app or by email.

 Ezpense Account Deletion

Ezpense users can permanently delete their account from the mobile application by opening Account and selecting “Delete Account.”

If you cannot access the application, send an account deletion request to [email protected] using the email address associated with your Ezpense account. Use “Ezpense Account Deletion Request” as the subject.

After verification, your Ezpense account and associated personal data, including saved receipts and account information, will be permanently deleted. Data required to be retained for legal, security, fraud prevention, or financial-record obligations may be retained only for the legally required period.

Deleting your Ezpense account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play before requesting account deletion.
